Class Rules and Expectations:

Band should be a fun, respectful and structured experience. Students are expected to be in their seats with their instruments and all needed supplies 2 minutes after the bell rings.

Talking and other disruptions of class will not be tolerated, and after a warning, students may either lose points from their class participation grade, be asked to sit out for a short period of time, or have their parents contacted.

Students must practice on a weekly basis, and assignments will be given and practice logs checked at each lesson. Without consistent practice, it is difficult if not impossible to improve.

Since band is a participation class, students must always give their best effort and should never make others self-conscious about their playing. If we all support each other, then we will do the best that we possibly can!
